FS: 2006 Kawasaki zx14 with bolt-ons

Make: Kawasaki
Year: 2006
Model: ZX14

Even though it is a 2006, I bought it new (never licensed) last Feb (2008 ). The bike was built out of the crate the day I picked it up. To my understanding, I was able to get an 06 because a Kawi dealer went under, and Kawi reclaimed all the left over bikes. Hillsboro Kawasaki got it from Kawi USA and they passed the savings on to me. Since that time, I have taken great care of my bike. I got the bike with 0.5 miles, and it now has just about 11,500 miles. The bike has been garage kept it's ENTIRE life. In fact, it has never spent even one night outside. I changed the original oil out at 500 miles. I switched to semi synthetic at 1200 miles, and changed to full synthetic at 2500 miles. Since that time I have changed the oil at 5750 miles, 8500 miles, and 10,500 miles. This summer when I took it in for a checkup, I had the dealership replace the clutch fluid and brake fluid. The rear tire is a Dunlop Roadsmart (dual compound touring tire) that has less then 1000 miles on it, and the front is a race takeoff Dunlop Qualifier with lots of life left it it as well.

Passion Red was a color option only in 2006. I have all the stock parts, but the bike also has....

$895 Orient Express stainless exhaust system with titanium muffler
$259 Power Commander III usb
$50 Frame sliders
$30 Clear tank protector
$139 Tiger Racing aluminum undertail
$15 Rear spools
Secondary Throttle Plates removed (increases low end torque, the bike is restricted from the factory)

The bike has NEVER been down or had any close calls. I am the original owner with a clean title (it's not even a year old). Note: Don't bother coming to ride it if you don't have proof of funds, and a motorcycle endorsement.

$7,250 obo

Thanks,
Jorgen (509) 781-2465

Here is a picture that I took of it last week. Since that time I've changed from a Brocks Alien Head exhaust to the Orient Express, and I've also added the Tiger Racing aluminum undertail.

Here is a dyno of my bike at the May 9th Ducati Seattle dyno day. At this event, my bike took top honors for the day. Just for a frame of reference, there were lots of hayabusas, liter bikes (of all kinds), and even a desmocedici (yes, my bike makes more hp then a desmo). If I remember correctly, the dynojet numbers were close to 180 whp.

From the dyno chart, you can see just how good the tune is also. The dyno operator said that map was "extremely good."

The bike is priced to move. Give me a call.

My goodness Lyle. You are quite sensitive about getting Rick Rolled aren't you. Go ahead and post about how mean I am on your own thread though bud! My bike is in perfect condition, and you gave me such glowing accolades over on psychobike. $10 says you edited those and said I'm an asshole over there too...... Grow up!

edit: I guess I owe you $10. Here was your quote from psychobike

+1 Jorgen you should send Lyle a appology. Lyle has gone out of his way to help
all of us here. Man up and do the right thing. I did not slam you when you said my friend
Cory "might be selling stolen parts" as he has the frames and titles for sale too. Or do you
remember that post. I was kind to you every time you changed exhaust "This One Is IT"
and you did say that Sticks has a custom map so you owe him to. I knew you were kidding with Sticks.
But posting he may be selling stolen parts was Uncool for Cory so I posted hey the Muzzy links I
purchased from you "might be stolen" remember??? Think before you slam someone
even if you are kidding it may have hurt his selling parts. How does it feel??

New price, $7,000

As for all of this posting on my thread. Please keep it to yourselves, I will settle this matter with Lyle personally and privately. I feel as if I've been a valued member of zx14.com, but the time has come for me to sell my bike. I've never had a bad deal with anyone, and I've always paid promptly when buying something. I know a couple members personally, and they know I am an honest person. I accidentally forgot to give Sticks some money for some oil, but I called him up and sent him some parts to compensate. He didn't even remember, but it was important for me to be honest. In no way have I ever meant to upset anyone on zx14.com.
As for you being nice to me about changing exhausts, I really don't care what you think about my exhaust. I have changed exhausts several times because I like to. I'm a curious person, and I like trying out new things. I in no way need your approval about which exhaust I have.
Sorry if I've upset anyone in any way, I would be more then happy to talk about it via email.
My email is gilberjj@gmail.com

What about Cory, are you sorry for saying his prices were so low that they may be stolen parts? I don't care about what you think either. Are you "Really being Honest about the condition about your bike that has never sat out side? Uh smoking the tire in your drive way and hitting the rev limiter? That is really takeing good care of it. If you never meant to upset
anyone why did you not email me private and ask about Corys parts for sale???? You had
my email I purchasd your Muzzy Gold Links. You started this Jorgen then hit me with you don't care what I think that's cool son. Grow up.

Yes, I'm 100% positive it's NEVER EVER spent ONE SINGLE night outside. Until 2 months ago, it was in a HEATED garage. Now I moved to Olympia with my new wife, and it has it's own garage with my tools. You have no clue! I have receipts for everything, and I've documented oil changes. I have papers for the frame inspection, and I have many people that will vouge for the condition of my motorcycle. I've never used anything but shell and chevron fuel, and I've never let anyone borrow my motorcycle. I don't know what on earth I did to you to make you feel as if you need to sabotage my thread, but I am not worried. My motorcycle is in excellent condition.

You Have No Clue is Correct.

I have taken good care of my bike. Your printed words.

1 Smoking the tire 2 feet in front of your garage door and hitting the Rev limiter. Your Video.

2 How many Drag Strip passes??

3 How many Dyno runs??

4 How many times have you taken it apart to install so many exhaust different sytems?

5 I am a curious person so lets ream the piss out of every time you changed the exhaust.

6 You called Cory a Thief........... That's what you did to "Upset me"

Who cares if it has never been outside duh No need to try to explain, you and your

bike is what it is. THE TRUTH see #s 1 thru 6 Again you started this. I am done with you.

I helped sell your Muzzy M10( remember my email to you) trying to help you and Reeves who Is a nice person. I wish you and your new wife all the Best.
