2008 Hayabusa project bike for sale

As much as I hate to do it, I think the time has come for me to sell the 2008 Hayabusa project bike. If you followed the other busa web pages you will see that this bike just appeared in this month's Motorcyclist magazine July-2008 issue. As of now it has under 1000 miles on it and is in perfect condition too. The list of modifications is long but no internal engine work AT ALL. The valve cover has never been off. The only thing that was done internally was the Boost By Smith GPS device that fixes the limiter and it installs behind the clutch, so I had it out for this work.

Here is the list of stuff done to the bike and the retail cost.

Brock's Performance Products
Ohlins Forksinternals installed $730.25
Ohlins Rear Shock =$1206.25
Brocks Exhaust Ceramic black Thermal coating=$1315.00 It makes just over 180HP now

Dynojet Research, Inc
Power commander PCIII-USB $349.95

Pazzo Racing, Inc.
Shorty Levers=$199.99

Dymag Wheels 7 Spoke forged Magnesium Wheels $3011.00

Worldwide Bearings
Ceramic Wheel Bearings= $395 front and rear

Schnitz Racing
GPS Speed restrictor Eliminator=$109.95

Cycle Brakes
Front/rear brake lines $169.95
Galfer Front brake pads $39.95 X2
Galfer Rear brake Pads $26.99
Galfer front Wave rotors $588

Street & Track Import Accessories Michelin Pilot Power Tires $300

Vortex Racing adjustable Rear Sets=$407.95

Tiger Racing, LLC Aluminum tag mount $29.95 Aluminum chain guard $69.95

Finishing First Inc.Powder coating=$90 chain guard, passenger pegs

Hotbodies Racing GP Dual Radius Windscreen $69.95

HID Low beam conversion kit with Ballast $149

DID 530 chain and several sprockets for the Dymag rear wheel $300+

I also have most all the spare stuff such as the stock windscreen, levers, stock tires and wheels, rearsets, brake lines and pads, stock chain guard, etc. The only big thing I do not have is the stock exhaust.

It has never been ran at Maxton or 1/4 mile. Only street ridden and with under 1000 miles you can see it spent most of its life in the studio having photos made.
As you know the 09s have gone up to $13,199 but I see 08s in worse shape on Ebay selling for around $9000.

I am asking $13000 for EVERYTHING. That means you are getting the bike for $9000 then all the Ohlins stuff, exhaust, Power Commander, Wheels etc for $4000 more. You cant touch that deal anywhere. As of now I am not interested in parting it out so please no offers on the wheels, etc. This bike was built to be the ultimate street going Hayabusa and I would really like to see it stay together is possible.

Email me directly at Motojournalism@aol.com as I never check PMs on here. Please NO PMS !! Or call me at xxxxxx I have tons more pics too if needed

xxxx

Here are a few pics of the bike.
