thanks... but i need a motor from a 2000-2001... from what i understand the engine to frame mounting points on the heads are different...

to fit a 02+ motor in a 00 or 01 you just need to drill and tap the head for the early style motor mounts. the head is basically the same, they just didnt take the time to drill and tap that section on the later ones. very simple to have done

See there ya go... you could have it tapped to fit. And have a motor from an 05.... Let me know what you think......

but you can change the cylinder heads !!!!!!!!!!!!

you could change the heads or you could just tap this one for the mounts (not that difficult) .... and im selling everything for $2350..... engine and tranny , wiring harness ad ECU....

is the harness and ecu the ame or will those need changed out also? the guy looking for this just has a bad tranny and I figured he could just get a newer motor with less miles then his for about th same price..
Ryan how many miles on this motor?/tranny? is everything in working order? all stock?

not sure about the wiring harness, but some ecus have diff plug connectors, i know my 01 and dads 00 wont swap just ecus, but if you swap the wiring harness too it will work. the 05 is a 32 bit ecu vs the older 16 bit ecu.

at 2004 there is an other harness !!!! dual throttle flap !!!!!!!!

you can use all your parts from your old engine !!! harness, and, and ,and
all other parts will fit !!!!
2005 engine ---- drill the holes to mount with the old brackets ??
or you change the cylinder heads ------ cylinder heads are all the same !!!

Everything is in great condition. All of this has less than 5k miles on everything. And is totally complete..... nothins missing......all stock. And im not sure if you gotta change it out. But if you want to mine comes with the parts neccessary......
