'00 Red ZX-12R for sale
I have a very nice '00 ZX-12R for sale. I am the original owner. The bike is located in Northern Virginia. It is candy persimmon red. It is bone stock mechanically and has only 4,900 miles on the clock. It is always garaged when not being ridden. Cosmetically, the rim lips have been polished, the subfender has been trimmed below the turn signals, and the Ninja and Kawasaki decals have been removed. It has never been wrecked. The tires have recently been replaced with stock oem rubber. It has a transferrable factory warranty which is good until September 2004. I am selling it only because I just purchased a new Ducati M900 Monster. The selling price? $6,950 FIRM. There is a very good possibility that this bike will end up on ebay next week. ZX-12Rs have been selling on the high side for the past couple of weeks, which is a surprise. I'll probably give it a go and see what happens.

Well, I finally sold my 12. I got $6,800 for it, which I guess is a fair price for me and also the guy who just bought it. I was going to delete this thread, but I figured that I would let everyone else know what the bike brought so they can know how much to expect to pay (or get) for a similar bike in the Northern Virginia area. I'll come back and delete this thread in a couple days if someone else doesn't beat me to it first.
