For Sale: 2004 ZX12R 4900 adult driven miles
Hate to do this but I'm building a house and have too many bikes.
Bike is located in St. Petersburg, FL near Tampa.
I'm selling a pristine '04 Blue ZX12R that is truly in *Mint* condition. 4900 miles.Always Garaged, Never raced, never down, never in the rain, no damage, no parts replaced. I'm the second owner and 47 years old and have ridden the bike 1200 miles in a years time. I bought it from the original owner, who was a Sheriff and also 47 year old. He took meticulous care of the bike, always used Motul synthetic and changed the oil every 1000 miles, which I have done the same. I just detailed the bike and it is spotless.
The bike has a lot of nice extras that the Original owner added including.
Front and Rear Bridgeston BattleAx tires with 1000 mostly hiway miles (like new)
A Full Titanium Arata Exhaust- $1400
A PC-3 (original box with computer down link) w/ custom Arata map that is spot on!--$350

The Bike will be listed on Cycle trader online Friday the 13th of October, will update with link to ad with pictures. There are some pics in the "Tribute FLag ride thread"
That includes taking the bike to Forward Air, the tiedowns, and 2 locks required. Buyer pays shipping costs. Or anywhere in the State of FL for $1 per mile. My friend is driving From Tampa to Charlotte NC in two weeks (October 24th) via I-95 north to I-27 to Columbia SC, to I-77 Charlotte but could be persuaded to detour thru Atlanta or Greenboro for some gas money. If you can meet him in route, NO Charge for That!!
If bike doesn't sell I will remove the pipe and PC3 and sell separarely but It's really nicely set up the way it is and someone would be very happy with it. I don't want to sell but need to raise some $$$ for next year building season on my mountain home. Thanks for looking
