Ignition Retard Unit, Kawasaki ZX-14 - Schnitz

Ignition Retard Unit, Kawasaki ZX-14 - Schnitz
The EFIR-ZX14-06 Retard Module allows the user to progressively retard the ignition timing on the 06-07 ZX-14 with a 12 volt signal. This is a Must for Bikes with Nitrous or Turbos

The EFIR-ZX14-06 also has a timing advance feature that can be used when running the bike without nitrous. This timing advance is applied progressive between 5,000 and 6,000 RPM. Stock timing is used below this rpm to prevent detonation. By advancing the engine at higher rpm, a horsepower increase of as much as 2% can be seen.

This unit plugs right into the factory wiring harness, and is 12 volt activated. Hook it right up to your nitrous solenoids or a pressure switch on your turbo bike, and retard the timing to save your engine.

It is programmable with dipswitches from 0-16 degrees of timing retard, and also has dipswitches to adjust the built time from .250 to 4 seconds.

EFIR's are easy to wire, but you have to wire them correctly. If not wired correctly the bike won't start, or will shut off when it's activated, so read first then wire!

what do the framesliders look like? If they are black and low-key(no bling)... I'd like them.
