Whooe! I was sold the purple ones by Vince as the long ones! Please check (measure) as I would like to know myself. That sounds fucked up on the mixed colors. One would think that they (bear) would stick to a certain color for designation purposes.

Ok, I'm gonna go take them off the bike and measure them. Vince can you post what they should be... long/short. I always thought that the purple ones were the short ones... atleast that's how I bought'em.

Gerald if these turn out to be something other than you wanted, I'll refund your money ASAP.

Alright, went out, took them off, and realized I had no idea what I was going to measure. So I dug out the stockers.... According to Vince, the short are SHORTER than the stockers, which would indeed, make these the short ones.

Actually the Purple were the Ones I brought in and the Gold are His. That way we can keep track

To say that one color for short and 1 color is for Long Cannot be done for many reasons! The #1 Reason is we sell Mixed Stacks! We do not thing anyone would to have 2 gold and 2 Purple Stacks in their Bike!! Another thing, this is like saying that the Kawasaki's that are Green have are all ZX12R or as we like to say "The Faster Ones! Some People like Gold (Red Bikes) and some like PURPLE (The Green Bikes). How can we say that you can only have SHort in Purple??

We SOld Mixed (2 Long and 2 Short) All Long and ALL Short! They are VERY Easy to tell apart! The Short have an entrance (Top of the Bell mouth) about "4" MM From the top of the Base and the Long have an Entrance (top of the Bell mouth) about 14 MM from the Base!

I only jumped in because of the mention of the Color related to size! I had no Idea that you guys did not know what you had or bought!!

ALso make sure you take the "0" RIngs off before Shipping because at the Cold and lack of pressure in an Airplane they will freeze and break!

Not only are they the Short ones, but they are in Excellent condition! The way I remove the "0" RIngs is to clean them off with a little brake cleaner, dry them and squeeze up with the thumb and forefinger so that you get a little opening at the top and with the other handroll the "0" RIng OFF.

No problem if you damage one or two I will send more to the new buyer free!

Had no idea what I bought?????????????? Hell, I bought them from YOU for 250 bucks because you had advertised them as long because they were purple. I think I will take them off and measure for myself now that this has surfaced.

Most Likely you have SHort or at Most Mixed! I sold very few sets of ALL Long. I have never Advertised anything as "Long because they were PURPLE" Ever! Everything I have ever said is still on the Internet somewhere! On the ZX12R site the posting is on the 1st Page with PICTURES of what I have and everyone can see that I showed All sets (Short, Mixed and Long) in Gold and Purple!

Here is the Thread where I sold them!

I would be happy if I could get them from Bear for that. Before the Dollar went to Hell0 and the Rand was weak, I could get them "THEN" at that price! Except for the "0" RIngs, nothing really wears out or changes! Persaonally, I just thought "Purple" Looked better!!

You are WRONG Vincent! I found them on labusas, NOT zx12.org. Called you on the phone and talked to you about them. In the thread and on the phone you stated that they were the long ones and I replied that I do most of my riding on the street. YOU replied that I was a smart guy because since they were long that would help my mid power. Your statment above is total bullshit or you are loosing you memory in your old age. Would you like me to fax you a copy of the check? Surly you remember that as you were so worried about the paypal fee's. You are a man of research... do some.

That is what Vince said dip shit! I simply bought what he was describing as LONG stacks in his ad on labusas. I could give a shit less about the cost of them or your opinion on a matter you know nothing about. I just did not get what he said were the ones I needed and wanted. He was just trying to unload a set. If I had known what I know now I would have bought the muzzy ones. If the tables were turned and you bought something that was described as what you wanted and found it out to be incorrect you would not be so inclined to make stupid comments when the person you bought it from denies the whole thing.

I deal with a lot of people and cannot remember everyone and every detail! So what did you end up with? If you do not have "ALL" Long ones and that is what you want! I will exchange what ever you have in what ever condition for a "NEW" Set of Long in Gold "or" Purple as soon as I receive what ever you have! This includes a NEW set of the sealing "0" RIngs that go into the Throttle Bodies also!

I think you are the First Angry Customer I have ever had and I do not car why you are Angry as long as you have exactly what you ordered and it is exactly as advertised! I always hate to use PayPal always! I trust you more than them!

I think Dr. Gary and others that have done business with me just may be surprised because your experience is not their experience! I have sold over 100 Sets of Bear Stacks and brought the first sets into this country on a special deal for $150 a set. Most of the to board members here and Labusas and ZX12R

Thank you Mr Hill, I am not angry just want what I was originally after. The long stacks. I really dont care about the color. You were a nice man and I thought it to be a pleasent transaction. I just had know idea untill I read this to pull them and measure. You just assured me they were the long ones. PM me your addy and I will return them in perfect condition. They were used when I purchased them from you as that is how you had them listed.

Sorry for the sarcasm on the back quote, but it seemed appropriate. What I was trying to get across was the fact that you still didn't and don't have any idea of what you bought, you just bought it and put it on regardless. It probably was not the nicest way to come across, but when you start to rage and use foul language it tends to be rather irritating. Maybe in the future you could have half the class as Mr. Hill. I realy do not think anyone else would be so generous in their dealings with people, especially after the approach you took.

I will not post any more on Matt's thread.

lol, doesn't bother me any. I'm just glad our deal went off without a hitch.

Because I too, was misinformed, but by my own fault. Although they were advertised as short ones, for whatever reason I just thought that purple=short. Oh wells.

WE ALL Learned! I will send you (Crashtech) my e-mail to get my address to return them and let me know what color and you will Have Long! You have looked at them and they "ALL" Look exactly the same and just like the Picture of Matts?? I sent a lot of people the Mixed that rode on the street and did a Little racing because Dan (Oldkawboy) found that they worked better in the 1/4 mile and In my testing they made a little more torque than the SHort and a little more HP than the ALL Long. If I ride my bike on the street I would use Mixed!

SO let me know when you get the PM| and what ever it takes that is what will be done!

Dr. Gary, as you know, that is how Bear and I do business! It is also why I use my real name because if "Anyone" had anything bad to say after all these years of doing business, Everyone would know it! Also Matt, I told your guy that I will send him a new set of "0" Rings free so he will have the benefit of New Stacks!
