FS Parting out '01 ZX12R
Hate to do it, but I have no choice. I bought this bike new in Fall of 2001 and now it has to go. Here is a pic: http://www.bikepics.com/pictures/087699/
Depending on how I part it out depends on how this post goes. If enough interest is generated, it will be pieced asap but I am not breaking it down if someone just wants a brake rotor. The engine can be sold complete or I will piece it out, again depending on interest.
Once one piece is gone, it all must go so you can see my hesitation in doing this. The first question that will be asked is "why" so let me just say, I do not have a clear title for this bike. It is tied up in bankruptcy (against my wishes). That means the frame must stay so everything is for sale except the frame.
Condition of the bike is good. It has around 13,000 miles on it plus or minus. Engine does not smoke. Battery is gone. Seat covers were after market and have cracked so seats will be frame and cushion only. I have the originals in great shape but don't know exactly were. I will find them if interested. Tires are no good and will be removed from rims.

Got rained out today while taking apart my 12. Those of you waiting for head pics, it will be another week. Prices and descriptions will be added for the parts I have ready tomorrow.

I am putting a hold on this sale til Wednesday. Sorry guys. As of 20 minutes ago, I have a buyer that wants the whole bike. But put your orders in. In the event he does not buy it, everything will go first come first serve. The time stamps on the PMs and thread replys will serve as my list builder.

I have decided not to sell my bike off. The demand and prices for the parts just don't work out in my favor. Maybe when the title is clear, I will sell the entire bike. But until then, it will be cleaned up and put in storage. I apologize to those of you hoping to get parts.
