Muzzy lockup- for Trade.....ZX12R
I have a complete ZX12R, Muzzy lockup for trade or sell...I need a Power Commander...The one I have is an older model PC111R.I'd like a PC111R,USB.....Or trade for an MTC lockup that I can use on the street....I have the spacer, lockup assmbly.,Longer pusher rod,...I never ran it on my bike...I got it with the trade...The guy said he only used it a couple of times...Kept breaking the rod because he was riding it on the street too, and didn't know how to use it....
Let me know what ya got....

Well there is a bearing insert that goes with that lock-up that is a must have to stop it from breaking that you got to have to make that lockup work. I know all to well about that give muzzy a call and get the bearing that goes with it to support the pin and not ever worry about it breaking again.

No shit??I called them recently and they said nothing about that...They said it was race only....I'll call them again and see what they say....That would be excellant if they have something that'll work for me....I love having a lockup on the street or track...
Thanks brother,
Paul.....

you have to ask for it,
They sell it to help the muzzy lock-up become reliable.
I always felt it should have been a free upgrade, because most of the muzzy lock-ups
are on the shelf for fear of being stranded.
MTC comes with the the bearing and don't have near the rep to breakage.

Thanks Ninja12.I'll make sure to ask for it...How much is it???If it's cost effective to do the conv.I'll get it...I guess they don't think some people know how to run a lock both on the street and race track....I wouldn't run it on the track if it's not safe to pull the clutch in ...Just in case something happens 60' out and ,like spinning sideways or something and you NEED to pull the clutch in to be safe and Get the power off the rear wheel....I've got auto trans. in my dragbikes but thats a different deal, and I DO need to pull the clutch in or quick shift out of the auto part of the tranny...
Thanks Ninja....

I just talked with Curt at Muzzy's...He said the bearing doesn't cure the problem...Still drag only setup....Will still break the puller....OH WELL..
