HRC spec Carbon/Ti muffler - 3 lbs
I have a custom built, one-off Carbon Fiber /Titanium muffler that I ran on my 2003 ZX12 equipped with a Muzzy exhaust. I had the R&D department build it when I worked at Jardine and it was the exact specs we were running on the HRC RC51's and CBR600 Extreme bikes that Ben Bostrom & Miguel Duhamel used. Obviously working at Jardine at the time I couldn't run a Muzzy muffler (Rob knew this). When I sold the 12, I put a standard muffler on it and kept this one. It has a 2.25" inlet with spring hooks. I will include a pair of stainless steel & titanium spring hooks so you can weld these onto your existing mid-pipe/S-bend to accept the spring retention mounts. It will fit any full exhaust or Slip-On with a 2.25" OD. mid-pipe/S-bend. It does not matter if you have a stainless steel or titanium mid-pipe/S-bend currently, it will fit all. It has less than 1000 miles on it and is virtually like new. Comes with springs, spring hooks, and universal body mounting clamp. This is a very unique and special muffler and does not have a badge or logo on the muffler for a really clean look. Features/specs are as follows:
3 lbs, 10 oz.
Titanium end caps, inlet spigot, outlet tip.
Titanium core, 2.25".
18" Carbon Fiber shell. 750 degree resin.
Standard oval shape - 5.0" tall x 4.0" wide.
Can send pix on request. It would probably have a retail cost of $800 - $900 if we would have sold them to the general public at the time. But we never offered it. So it's doubtful you'll ever see one of these again. Sell for $275.
