What is my 2000 ZX12R Worth?
Thinking about selling my 2000 ZX12 but I'm not sure how much to ask.Here are some details and pics,maybe some of you can give me an idea.

I think what your asking is what is the street value of your bike? Cause I just got a lesson from Progressive as they evaluated my poor 12 after the "accident".
Insurance adjustor says a bike is a bike is a bike, they dont really look at accessories or modifications, nor does a dealer, to increase the bike's worth when determining the value.
My 2002 ZX-12R, he valued at $6730 with a salvage value of $1230.

IMHO...if you have the time, you would make more if you still had the stock parts. Put the bike back to stock trim, sell it for 5-6 grand. Then part out all the aftermarket stuff.
Is it worth 7500? Your in the ballpark. With all that, I wouldnt take less than 7 grand for it. But that is again, street value aka private party sale.
I know ZHool's 12 had some crazy stuff done to his 2000 zx-12r, and it was a hard press sell at 10grand.
But I cant stress enough, if you have the stock stuff, max out the bike's potential in stock trim and sell off all that aftermarket stuff. You'll make bank!

You'd be better off putting the bike as much back to stock as you can and selling the good parts seperate, IMO.
Half of that list really isn't worth much as far as adding value to the bike. These bikes suck as far as selling, but are a crazy value for someone buying one wanting to ride it. Hate to tell ya what I paid for mine, lol.

Kelly Blue Book says this for a stock 12 in excellent condition. Now your's is obviously not stock so take this info for what it's worth.

local dealer offered me $3500 for a trade-in on a ZX10...
that's will all the extras: Dymags, Akro, etc. etc. etc....
I told him to stuff it where the sun don't shine. I'm keeping it...

I'm thinking of selling because I could use the money to fix up my garage!
I still have most of the stock parts except rims and swingarm.
