Bigger Cams
I need advice. I'm building a 1441 Busa motor for my '01. I found a set of cams to go in the bike and I really like the ratios (.415" in/.395" out). The problem is my tuner has cautioned me against using the cams because he feels it will shorten the life of the head.
Additionally, he told me the head will require about another $350 worth of work to accept the .415" cam. I know the guides will need to be changed but what ele needs to happen to make the cams fit? How much trouble might this cause? Thanks.
