Wanting New Bike

So I am wanting a new bike. I have been sold on the Busa for a while now. So I have a few questions.

I currently own a 250 which is much smaller than the powershouse busa I will agree and I will also agree that the Busa is too much power for a first time rider. Please understand and not just immediately tell me that the bike is too powerful.

My first question is whether the mode buttons on the gen2 bike will hold me off and not kill myself. I really want this bike so that is why I am leaning towards the busa. I've just heard that mode c seems to hold the power down a lot to like a 600cc bike. So I am curious if this is true. I figured I could play around on the bike on that mode in good weather to get used to the bike and slowly work myself up from there.

Keep in mind that even though I want this powerful bike, I also want to stay alive. So please be understanding when replying to this post.

Now in addition to this, I want to know how the seats feel. I hear they are good for long trips and that your rear does not go numb after a long trip. Just want to confirm and also want to know how the passenger seat feels. Would those longer trips say a few hundred miles make for a sore butt for the passenger too? I know its not going to the be most comfortable bike for those long trips but again, I'm already sold on the bike and I truthfully dont want a cruiser.

So if you have anything you have to say or any suggestions, please do tell me. BUT please give me constructive criticism. I seriously don't want a message that literally says the bike is too powerful for you. If you can honor that, thanks!

If anyone cares to know, the reason I want to go straight for the busa is cause I would rather just buy all out rather than buy in increments. I just dont want to waste my money to buy this to buy that. if that makes sense. I'd rather just but that.

Mode C is like a slow 600 if you can manage to leave it there and get use to the bike you should be fine. Long trips for me on the stock seat was not a problem

I think avoiding the upgrade game is smart. The busa is easy to ride if you have a few ounces of common sense and it sounds like you do. Take a few months getting used to the weight before you even start to do anything like sport riding. I imagine it is going to be almost like learning to ride all over again. It turns excellent for a bike its size but I'm sure it is nowhere near a match for a 250. C is pretty peppy for being neutered mode. It acellerates slower but it will still generate the same speed once you get the revs up. <
The seat is comfortable for me. I'm just 170 lbs and that probably helps. If you are used to a sportbike position, you will have no problem riding 4 hours. Pillion seat is probably a bit small for a passenger but I have not gone 2 up yet.

Think about what kind of break in you want to do. If you want to go by the book - no problem - do it. If you want to do an agressive break in for best hp (so they say), you might want to let someone with more experience whip it's butt for a few miles, change oil and then hand it off to you.
