08 busa motor

Will an 08 busa motor fit on the earlier busa frame. Reason being is the motor i have will have to be torn apart an instead of rebuilding with the option of going bigger by way of piston kit i figured it would b easier to just do the 08, n have a stock more powerful build that will be dependable without heat problems

Externally the motors are identical.....so are the frames. But the 08 has different throttle body set-ups, so you'll need the 08 ecu. And the 08 airbox won't fit under the first gen tank from what I've read, so you'll have to get creative with the airbox design. Otherwise it should bolt right in

The frames are slightly different. The 08 has a different bracket on the bottom of the frame for the regulator/rectifier. Also the belly pan does not bolt up the same way either, which is why they have different frames.
