GSXR fender to fit on an '02 busa?

Hey all, I have seen pictures online of people mounting GSXR1000 front fenders onto their busas, and i heard rumors of a year that was a direct swap. Am i crazy? I have an '02 gsxr fender and it does not fit.

Any ideas?

Busa front end is 2002.

I'm doing the Busa fork swap on my 02 Bandit and spotted a post where a guy put an 06 gsxr 600 fender onto the busa forks with a few simple mods!

My question stems from my project bandit. Busa front end, Honda RC51 rear shock, Every Holeshot motor mod available

Thanks for the link! This is a gsxr1k fender, but it doesnt fit that well. I think i may follow the above guys method as well!
