08 Busa whipped in Memphis Tn.by 06 14
Busa got beat by 3.5 bike lengths.Local racer riding the Busa said he was going to sell the pcIII and has some regrets about buying it.06 14 is stretched 6 inches and has a Muzzy pipe.The Busa has about 300 miles on it ,so it may not be broken in .

its not the bikes, its the riders!!!!!!! Busa rider got beat, not the K8 Busa!

Busa had a pcIII, no mods beyond that.The guy is trying to sell it.I can get his name and number if someone in interested in buying the pcIII.

Apples and oranges... put a pipe on the busa, stretch it 6 inches, and I am sure it would be a closer race (given equal riders).

The busa rider is a better rider than guy on the 14. I would put my money on the guy on the busa anyday. He races at Memphis Motorsport Park a lot. I think they are gonna do it again .

You guys are a riot..When you get a Busa that will embarrass a 14, and when you get a 14 that will embarrass a busa let me know.

I have a 14 .Hey man i know it comes down to the rider ,but 90 % OF the guys in Memphis Tn. think the Busa is gonna just destroy the 14. Its just funny to me when a 14 beats a Busa they have this strange look on their face.Hell just last week Keith Dennis (aka Shine) beat a 07 Busa on a 929. Its all on the rider my friend ,and Shine is one of the best if not the best.

Sunday in Memphis 08 busa got beat again by 06 zx14. Guy riding the 14 is a fireman.Maybe when the weather breaks they will do it at Memphis Motorsport PARK !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know his name ,but i will try to find out.I thought the Gate was slow these days.We will probly be at Tom Lee Park sunday ,if the weather cooperates. Right now its about 58 . Hopefully it will get to 70s sunday.Are you going to MMP thursday?

I guess this is another opportunity to set the record straight.....
The bikes are pretty equal. I have an 07, zx14. I run 9;40ish on my bike 63 inches, foot shifting weight 212 in shorts. Most of the 08 busas are not even at the track, nor will they bring them.... I am like you guys not impressed.... that's why there are so many still at the biek shop. It's not the economy, it becuase the rider has to ride the bike.

Justoyz2 have you seen the 14 that Buckingham has ? I dont know if you know him but he had a zx10 that was sweet and a 12r before that.If you are ever at Tom Lee Park keep your eyes out for 2 black stretched 14s and a red 12r ,we come thru often. Man its just too cold to ride now 47 at 6pm sunday evening.We just ride to have a good time and watch the youngsters wheelie and all.D o you frequent Memphis Motorsport ?

I have a 2008 zx-14 and I whip 2008 busa all the time buy atleast 6-7 bikes. Fine me a better rider. And even when we switch bikes. my 14 comes out on top all the time. Don't get me wrong. Busa are fast. But 14 are just still faster. lol.

6 inch stretch makes a HUGE difference!
I could actually hold it wide open to redline in 1st and second without wheelying a 12'O' clock after stretching my 14 -6"
Either bike is equal set up equally.
The busa might have a 2-5 HP advantage, but the zx14 has a superior clutch.
These bikes set up equal are so close, its all up to the rider.

dont get carried away with these bold statements, should of put "i think" the 14 looks better then the busa because its only a matter of an opinion, i personally like them both i just got the 14 cuz i'm kawi lover and 5 of my friends own 08 busas, great bikes.
