08 stage 2 Velocity system in the works

Leaving for Lexington tomorrow fellows to drop my black/grey 08 to Velocity for some major HP. 2-3 weeks from now and I should have 450 hp or so at my disposal with race fuel. 320 on pump. Can't wait!

Just spoke with Barry and things are going well with the build. He told me the new busa will make apx. 15% more power on boost and spool that little GT25 dual ball bearing quicker. My last stage 2 made 430hp so 475 is not out of the question.

I would have thought the old suystems would bolt right up to the new bike.
What really is different dimensionally about the new motor besides 2 mm stroke?
the exhaust flnages right up don't they?
Is the intake the difference?

Dubious it's close but the old system will not bolt up. Header will, throttle bodies are spaced different, and a few other things Barry tried to explain to me. The intake is more direct and the stock head is a little different. Barry's 08 pro street bike made 12% more power than last years. I'm thinking the stage2 will follow suit. My last stage2 made 423hp at 29lbs boost. I'm thinking 450-475 with c-16. In a couple of weeks we'll know.
