I've also had 2 ZX-14's an 06 and a 07 and if the busa dosen't hurry up and get here it will be 3 ZX-14's, the new 08 lol.

Okay with a little over 100 miles I feel I can give an honest report and comparo now, But remember I'm comparing to an 06 14. First I had no issues with my 14 bike did everything I asked it to do and then some, don't regret having a 14 one bit, so with that here it goes.
Power wise I feel the busa stock for stock will kill the 14 untill the 14's flies open up. But I feel the Busa will still out power the 14. An 08 14 might be different will have to wait and see.
Fit and finish. The Busa hands down is the nicer bike. Suzuki really did a fine job on the entire bike anyone who spends 15 minutes looking at one should say the same thing. My 14 had mis matched gaps from side to side on the pieces covering the ram air tubes and the gas tank/ air cleaner cover. no big deal but trying to list what I feel.
Comfort to me is a dead even heat, both are fine for my 6'3 frame.
the 14 is smoother across the power band but not by much. The 08 Busa is greatly improved over the older models.
The shifting on the Busa is by far better, no clunk going into first or any gear for that matter. My 14 clunked bad going into first, again no big deal to me.
The 14's front brake will kill the Busa's again the 08 Busa's front brake is way better then the older moldels but not as strong as the 14's.
Gauges on the Busa IMO look much better then the 14's again no big deal I had no complaints from the 14's gauges.
Well that about covers it unless anyone has a ? I can answer that I left out. Check back saturday for my results from the first time taking it to the track!

Why is there always a hater in every group..I got a another Kawi because of people i know thinking that Suzuki is the only way to go.. Well I have had no problems with my kawi, but know i see both ways. If i had the money I would own both. I think its a killer bike and yes the rear end takes some getting used to but its still a nice ass bike and i am sure the technology is better and anyway if you like it thats what matters. So fuck everybody else. That dick is just trying to start a fire!!!

Bently, I do agree BIG time with the 14 having the gap issues. I took my bike apart and made my junk fit and line up perfectly. I also know what you mean about the clunk going into first gear but my 14 is smooth. It has never made that noise going to first gear but I know some others that do have that loud clunk though.
What I wanna know, is how is the heat coming off the bike compared to the 14. I know in the summer heat, my bike will damn near burn you off of it when the fan is on.

sounds good so far.The 08 14 has what 5 to 8 more hp that puts at the 08 hayabusa.where do these people think its going to kill it.I still bet with the increase power of the 14 it may still loose to the busa on top end.but they should be so close with in 1 tenth of each other at the drag stripThese mods that were done to the kawi may be a little gain from stock but when pipe and pc put on it may make the same as it did before.it sounds like they tweak the zx14 power little

Agree at the drag strip it's going to be all rider, some times the 14 is going to win sometimes the Busa.

So far no heat issues, but it's cool here so i have to let someone else in a warmer climate answer that! It's been a high of 58 since I picked the bike up.
