192 RWHP with race gas on the dyno. Where'd you hear this at. I don't believe that at all. Until all the test and dyno runs are all done on this new Busa, numbers are always going to be over inflated. just as they are on any new bike. I wouldn't be surprised if some nut came out tomorrow and said "New Busa-220 HPn Pump Gas!!! You will hear anything online and in life. Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

actually those numbers are real, it was 192 and 112 ft pounds of tq. pump fuel no pc and Brocks gen 3 exhaust and I beleive he had 0 weight oil in, which is worth a couple hp. so 189 to 190 with standard oil. Now the 08 14 should do about the same if it has the hp increase kawasaki claims it does.

OK. But right now everybodies all on the new Busa's ass and nobodies really saying much at all about the "08"14 and it's supposed increased HP/Torque. I guess Brock will have to compare the two once he gets back from Canada. He said that he should have an "08" 14 waiting for him when he gets back and then he can do the side by side comparisons, stock and with the bolt ons. I can't wait to see the results. As we stand right now, if the new Busa is making the numbers I'm hearing and doing it with less cc's than the 14 but with more HP and Torque, that's saying alot. I take my hat off to Zuk for putting out such a great performing bike with a smaller engine.

I would not be surprised if the 08 14 and 08 Busa are within 1 to 2 hp of each other. It's going to come down to rider if the bikes are set up the same.

Those are pretty stout numbers being tossed around. I've had three different '08's on the dyno. They all put out 167 - 168 hp SAE. I'd like to see the graph showing "192 and 112 ft pounds of tq. pump fuel no pc and Brocks gen 3 exhaust ".

Well I haven't seen Brock post up anything in the last couple weeks but I did find this on the Busa board. No where near 192 and 112. Granted this is with only slip-ons, but you don't pick up 14ft-lbs of TQ with just and exhaust.

If that bike made 192 just by adding a pipe 15 hp increase. What was the A/F on this and where is it posted (dyno) to include the a/f numbers?

You can't trust the number because Brock has a vested intrest called (MONEY)
So, if the bike did 177.5 at 13:2 to 1, what do you think the A/F is now since you leaned the bike out?

That bike had to be leaned way the hell out in my opion to make 192 RWHP. I'd like to see the A/F ration as well. Certain individuals do have a vested interest in escalating the numbers because it's all a business for the aftermarket parts makers. PERIOD!!!

Brocs dynos read a bit higher than what folks usually see...I wouldn't get too excited until you see both bikes on the same day same dyno for an accurate comparison.

My 14 made 189 on a dyno that reads pretty accurate numbers for ever bike i''ve had on it.
And my times backed it up. That was with Brokcs stuff.
new busa and 14 should be in the 190'S. I know my 08 busa is making more then 171 all stock as i ran faster today on mine then an 05 making 171hp that i've rode.

2008 hyabusa dyno

I witnessed a 2008 busa on a dyno , with a new full brocks system extended with a power commander putting 186 to the tire, thats impressive to me!!! so without extentions your looking at 190s hp to the tire, dynojet dyno!

Not sure on dyno numbers, as my bike has never been on one............, stock motor Zx12.

Brocks dyno sheet for my bike, shows 185. I have the pipe that was used in that dyno test, the first sidewinder built for the 12 ever from him/hindle.

my bike has done 123 and 124 in the 1/8 mile several times. the bike has no power adders. I weigh 175 suited. it was great almost perfect air when it was done............

Surely these new bikes are putting out more. I have tuned clutches on them, and it is amazing what the zx14 likes in a multi stage clutch.

thats just my input..........

my point being......, in the right conditions............

might not be that crazy of a number. the bike is stroked, = torque, and more ccs is gonna have more hp.

My friend who works at a local performance shop said they have an 08 busa in there now for some work. He said they got 188 out of it bone stock, and 206 with a pipe, filter and power commander. He said he expected it to be about 15 hp lower because their dyno tends to read a little lower than most. What are the literbikes putting out piped? I would guess mid 190's since they're supposed to be about 10 hp lower than the big bikes?

dynos don't mean crap. they are simply a machine to simulate and apply resistance. Unless you are dynoing bikes back to back on the same dyno, numbers can only be an indication. My bike put down 171whp, but it is a lot faster then stock, and some ppl are claiming higher stock numbers then 171.

My bud also said they had an 06 14 put out 191 stock after a dyno style break in
These new bikes putting out 190 hp stock is kind of freaky I think. But at least it'll keep the power mongers happy
