World's Fastest all motor bike-my avatar
Yesterday on the Bonneville Salt Flats, Mark DeLuca rode my custom bodied Busa to a new alltime all motor record of 226.3 MPH. The average of two runs of 223 and 229 MPH. GPS showed a peak speed of 230. I designed and assembled the bike. Steve Knecum built and tuned the motor, Bob Carpenter supplied his head and cams. Tom deAngeli built the radical body and Bill Cross fabbed the coolant tank ( No radiator). Bike is 1630cc with billet crank and rods, CP pistons, Tsukigi pipe and Spencer Arm. Bike only made two runs as weather washed out the meet early. Sure is fun when everything works. LSL

Congratulations! Got to be a rush to ride on the salt.......................  ESPECIALLY at those speeds.........................
