I did not shop around but OTD from the bike shop where I put my deposit is $11,844.88 . I thought it was a good deal considering manufactures sugg. price so I put my deposit down.

Yes I am - with ABS option & White K8
Currently riding Busa K6 (regged@K7)
Usually I ride in a summer on any bike(s) ~10,000km
here in the coldness of southern Finland (Espoo)
with temperatures like Boston, I guess...
Exthaus is original & will stay so on the K8, too.
I love the silence of the Euro-3 pipes!

just seen the 2008 hayabusa in cherry hil nj...... all i'm saying is i'm getting 1 and the ass does look good in person... it flows with the bike, something the pictures cannnot create, i was on the internet 3 months looking at these pics feeling dissappointed obut the looks and i was already looking at an o7 leftover.. it took me all but 1 min and i decided on the 08.. i really would like the white one but the blue must be mind boggling .. you see i seen the grey one but from different angle she dont look grey

We picked up our 08 Busa on 10/05. There is no comparison to the first generation model. It is superior in handling, acceleration, stopping and the list goes on. The bike is better looking in person than in pictures and is well worth buying. It's like 1999 all over again. We should be posting pics of ours soon @ www.czponline.com

Was to pick my Blue one up tomorrow, but it'll be Friday now. Can't wait. I have kept hold of my 2000 model from new waiting for this upgrade to come along, I don't think it will disappoint by the sounds of it.
Agree, they look far better in the flesh, than the photos, although the Front 3/4 view is a good angle IMO
