The 14 just makes you think you are moving faster because it's new. I have seen big bore 1300s that will eat them alive. Which is why I don't care for stock performance anymore because of the potential with aftermarket parts. The 14 has a long way to go to be king at the strip.

The ZX14 looks 0-100 times better than the pig busa, The busa looks like it has a xtra fuel tank in the ass. If you 6' 6' and a fat bastard it would look good on ya ! Busa owners are just tired already ! of looking at the ass of my ZX14 everytime i go riding.

suzuki is dead serious about aerodynamics... even the clutch is totally buried in plastic..
looks smooth and organic.... no mechanical charisma left in the busa
I like my zx14, looks and handling, new zook likely will still turn like a beach ball, no changes to frame.
I hope they sell tons of them busa's.
I enjoy handing out spankings,
eventually I will become the underdog on my 2 yr old bike.
Means I'll surprise even more of them squids on busa's!

I honestly don't know which I like better. I want to say Kawasaki, but I definately 100% would if they got rid of the banana seat, foreman grills, and re-did the nose job.

I bought an 06 ZX-10R. It spanks the 04 GSX-R 1000 I hd for brute power, feels way lighter than it actually is B/C its very well balanced and I like the way it looks. Going back quite a few months, I could have easily bought a ZX-14 instead, but I just can't bear the look of it, about a foot longer than the zx-10 and wider, just not as sexy IMO. Plus reading about a lot of the restrictions and factory tune retards on the bike I can't see how the 06-07 Hayabusas aren't keeping up easily.
Going back further, my original intent was to buy a Hayabusa in 06, but the bastages at Suzuki were milking it and put off the redesign about 2 years, and while they are great bikes, I decided to try something different in the smaller Kawi, which I don't regret.
BUT now that Suzuki has finally got their butts in gear on the Busa for 08 I might be-a-bike shoppin' in the springtime. Actually more like nothing better get between me and the Suzuki dealership for it's own good. The only thing that I don't care for is the mind numbing amount of squid homies here that run out and buy Busas B/C it was in a crappy bike movie and ruin the hell out of them with godawful stretches and spinners and every peice of heavy shiny chrome bolt on garbage you can get for them.
I'm all about stealth and shaving weight/increasing power (heavy shiny stuff bad, carbon/titanium all over gooood), and I liked the Aprokovic I had on my Zuki K4 so much I would absolutely wait for them to get a system up for the new Busa. I have a 2 Bros on my Kawi now and it's nice but there's a huge difference brand for brand.
Oh well, congrats on you guys getting to see/check the new Busas out. I cant see any way on earth they could be considered ugly, I think they are(and have been) just sick looking and the new ones even moreso. The only thing I'm not personally 100% on board with is the new Tail section, but it will probably grow on my when I get to see one in person.

Busa is the anchor imo...... 14 just looks cleaner.... maybe not from head-on... but its profile and lines are much sexier.... Just cause I seem to be droppin more panties with the ZX

I think the 14 is a better looking and performing bike! All I can say is ride the two and you will see. Busa's are great bikes and are still very good looking bikes but its time for a change, (ABOVE) and thats not it!!

The 14 is a very nice looking bike. The old Busa looks like a Bumble Bee in the front. The new Busa looks like a Bumble Bee in the front and the back.

Or perhaps wonders how it is possble with just 12cc more motor, less BHP, Less Torque (just), and as far as I can tell, the same dry weight. Who me, Busa bias, surely some mistake

Opinions-What makes the world go round. The ZX-14 is a newer design than the Busa. That makes it a much better street bike because of mass centralization etc.. It turns better, stops better, and is more comfortable. But it is the underdog when used for racing. The one piece crankcase, monococque frame etc. make big power a big challenge. Appearances can be argued forever. Buy what you like. I own the World's Fastest Production bike, a Busa, and the World's Fastest all motor bike, a Busa. What do I ride on the street? A 14, sold the street Busa. Fastest all motor video:

lol, I am a loyal Busa guy, who cares if Both bikes are Ugly, they are both 2 awesome perforamnce machines in classes of thier own, Honda, yamaha no where to be seen in this class
