WTF valve clearance adjustments for zx14r
The service manual says 15,000 miles for US and CA models. 26250 for all other country's. Do those other country`s redline at 8000 rpms....
Also dealers around here are saying 1500 to inspect and 1800 if adjustment is needed.They are dropping the engine..I will do it myself as always but this is goofy all the way around.The manual says nothing about dropping the engine.

crazy designs drive me nuts. my RV ejected a spark.plug today dooming our weekend trip. plug is midway up the head in an.impossible place to repair. needs a helicoil. tool to repair is 6" long. space in engine compartment is only 3". they expect that you will drop a v10 out of the chassis to service the plugs?

My shit can mazda 6 car sucks.You have to take the entire fuel injection runner system off to replace the 3 rear spark plugs.

One of the reasons I switch back to the Busa. The only thing easy to do on my ZX14R was an oil change.
if you got big hands your really in bad shape with a 14.

Then why did i put 57000 miles on my 91 zx11 and 58,000 miles and 250 1/4 dragstrip run ( have every slip) before i blew the motherfucker to hell and back.I beat every booza i could race set up like mine......Do tell me shit bum..

162,000 miles of smiles on my 06 zx14  
Unless you have gorilla sized arms you dont need to drop the engine to check the valves.
The valve check intervals should be more like every 50,000 miles cause they take forever to require any adjustment.

Another good reason for switching back to the busa is being able to do this mod . I don't think any other bike could have pulled it off don't you think?
