School me on helmet Bluetooth....
I've been running a Chatterbox XBi2 for quite a while to take calls. What is newer / better out there now?

Agreed... but for me to be able to ride to work I HAVE to be able to take calls. If I can't take calls on the bike then I must take a car instead. No choice in the matter.

OK, better to ride and talk than drive and talk I live just 1 km from my work place so no such problems.

I use a Sena SMH5, got a 2 pack for around $180 so the Wife has one in her helmet too. We can stream GPS directions while listening to music, and tap the jog dial to communicate over intercom.
Simple, cheap, weatherproof, and work great. Had them for a year and a half now and use mine every day.

I have been a long time Shoei user but RF1100 had made me rethink this

I second the Sena SMH5. Been using one for a couple of months. My wife can't even tell whether I am riding 80 mph or getting gas.

I'd love the Skully, and may even be willing to shell out the ludicrous $ for one... except chances are it won't fit me. I've only ever been able to fit Arai's intermediate oval. I'd have no problem saving 75% and bying an HJC or similar if it was an option.

I recently bought a Shoei Neotec and the Sena 10U that integrates into the helmet. Works pretty well so far. Decent battery life.
My only complaints is there are only two buttons but something like 30 functions (volume, answer phone calls, change radio station, etc) so everything is a weird combination of long and short presses of the two buttons to do what you want. And the little remote it comes with uses different sequences which is annoying. And the instructions have a few of the sequences wrong. Just have to memorize it I guess.

Agreed - XBi2 has decent sound quality but.operating it is a pain. Answering hanging up etc. Sometimes dials the last number when I. Think I've hung up or changed volume..I'm sure it's operator error but it's still annoying.
