setting rear shock for drag racing
Hey guys without spending $800 on a new shock I was wondering about adjusting my stock shock on my 07 zx14. I'm about 220 suited and the bike is just under 70 inches. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

No matter how you adjust it, it still will not be enough for that length and your weight. The stocker is overwhelmed at anything over stock length if you are over 180lbs honestly. However, turn up the spring to the limit and adjust the compression all the way in and then back off an smidgen. Do the same for rebound. That works the best for me and I'm 225 suited @64in 08SE. Still bottoms out though. Best bet is re-vavle and spring for your weight, or Penske Triple or Ohlins. Good luck!
