Hahaha I think the Pinks idiot beats Brock out for most embarrassing! At least it was Brock's choice to post the video he could have easily not.. I think Brock was a stand up guy for posting it since he sacrificed his own pride to take advantage of an opportunity to possibly save someone from serious injury down the road. Brock just gained several points in my book.

New slick tires and a bit too much lean angle lol, it can happen to the best of us. Especially when riding a little toy after spending so much time on massive 200+hp rockets. I did get a laugh out of his response though..."Awwwwww man!"

Brock is the man!

It just goes to show - shit happens!

I had 'ridden' that little bastard over 100 miles on the dyno. In fact, the rear Vee Rubber tire was bouncing up and down, out of round, too hot and spiking our dyno runs just before I took my first street ride. IT was 'scuffed in' just fine.

But the front, ahhhhh the virgin front... ZERO MILES, cold and still covered with mold release agent. I'm a professional, I didn't think about, and I didn't have a chance... I was on my ass in the blink of an eye.

The really funny part? My guys were teasing me about gearing up. I actually shot a video about it BEFORE my ride! We have been too busy to put it together - ironic as all hell. I actually say in my vid " big or small... it doesn't matter, a little bike will throw you down just as hard as a big bike", and then rolled out and crashed a borrowed Grom?!

Oh yeah, I bought it. They can't sell it at a dealership after it's been crashed. Great day.

Oh well, I learned a lesson - might as well pass on the wisdom.

JGIG73,

No sand, that's just worn spots in the asphalt sealant ... there was a very suspect smashed pine cone in my path, but I'm not the kind if guy who blames my mistakes on a 'mysterious road obstacle' (beaver jumped out in front of me- lol!), when I plainly screwed up and didn't scrub the mold release agent off of the front tire, or allow it to warm up properly. It's my fault 100% and I hope others can learn from my mistake. I can tell you that I would have probably broken my elbow if my jacket didn't have that big-thick pad, I smacked it hard and only had a small friction burn to show for it. I did have a football size bruise on my thigh for a couple of weeks, along with a rivet burn from my jeans. My boots certainly prevented an ankle injury also, along with my gloves protecting my hands.... 32 MPH is 32 MPH, big bike or small, it's plenty enough to cause grief. If I had just been in jeans and a t-shirt - OUCH!

I wipe my tires with thinner before every ride just to be sure nothing has got spilled on them in the shop during cleaning and waxing the paint. also to be sure they haven't rolled through anything on the shop floor that may have not been noticed and cleaned up with thinner already. So far it works
