zx14 to zx14r kickstand

Hello I am new to the forum but I just purchased a 2012 14r and lowered it and looking to buy a lower kickstand. Well actually I did buy a kickstand from Yani shinki (I think that's the name of the company), but when I got it it wasn't a correct fit. I went back to the item description and it said 2006-2011. So I'm looking for a kickstand (adjustable) for the gen 2 14 is there really a difference from gen 1 to gen 2 for the kickstand? Thanks for your responses.

Cut the foot off flush then cut 1 inch off the total length. Weld the foot back on.Spray with some flat black.............Before you do any cutting lay the stand on a piece of paper and trace a detailed pattern.Line your foot back up the same way with some tack welds first.......

I have a kickstand on my 2012 that was from a 2006. I cut an inch out of it and had it welded so I could use it with my lowered bike. It fit fine.
