Clutch fluid change effect
Hey guys, I ride a 09 zx14, I had a rear brake m/c reservior leak and changed it out, bled rear brake. I decided to change out cluth fluid being it was cola colored and now its ginger ale colored with fresh fluid. I bled it, started up, pulled in clutch, put in gear and it goes forward with clutch in. I bled it again and it stays stable with clutch in, I did notice that now it wants to lunge forward even more stronger than before, like more bite. Is that what a fresh fluid change to the clutch does?

No. That is what warped steel clutch plates cause. Still.. bleed it some more and make sure you have no air. Try a different adjustment at the lever.

Warped? I hope that's not the case with me. She only has 12,500 miles, never saw the track, only ride hard on the streets. I bled her again now there's more pressure n less play. Pressure feels like it did before the fluid change.
