I agree as well! If I could afford the brocks dual ct system, that would be the route I would go. The graves slip ons are the best looking in my opinion.

I considered the dual CT system, but in the end I wanted to drop the extra weight, and I like the look of the side without the pipe- if it wasn't so damned loud, I would have gone for the even smaller street meg :

The beefy sound of the twin 'free flow' Muzzy pipes is what I love the most - truly exciting on the boil, yet street friendly under 6K.........On the other hand my modified Muzzy 4 into 1 on the 1270 is just plain nasty.

Well, what did you choose? Looking to do the same with my 2013... Love the stock canons on the highway for long trips but want some snap to the sound. Would love a go pro with sound at 100km or so

I had a few questions for you guys regarding the benefits of a full exhaust. I do agree that the 14r looks great with a single exhaust. However, I'm afraid of purchasing a full exhaust due to excessive fuel consumption. I had an 06 zx-14r with a full muzzy pipe and the fuel economy suffered tremendously. I would like to know everyone's opinion regarding that. what are you findings? I recently bought a new 2013 green zx-14r to replace my 06 but I'm torn between buying a full exhaust or a slip on. My main concerns of buying a full exhaust would be pricing of the exhaust and also fuel economy as I do ride often and long distances. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

By the way, I was interested in a Brocks or Hindle full system, or even going with slip-ons (yoshimura R77's).....I know Brock's systems are usually on the pricey side.

I have the r77 slipons. Average mileage is 40+ riding normal. With the 14r if your not racing do you really need the extra 7hp that the full exhausts gives you? I really like the dual so I went with the slipsons. However, you can't beat the brocks systems if you want that extra advantage. from what I've heard and read on several boards its what you want pin your bike.

I'm torn....I'm thinking cost factor may beat out the positives of a full exhaust from Brock. mmmmm I just dont know yet...I do like the r77s too... i may just go that route. At $1,800 for a Brocks full plus commander, I may have to reconsider. Thanks for the opinion Lou..

Why would you get a ZX-14r if your focus is being economical? So you lose 10% fuel efficiency or so with a full flow exhaust... big surprise.. and? it's not like you are in the "hyper mileage club" to begin with. Get the right tool for the job.

I think I'm leaning towards the Muzzy slip on's. I remember years ago a friend of mine had the Muzzy on his 92 ZX7 and it drew a lot of attention. Had a very low and exotic sound. too bad the sound clips on YouTube are horrible....

Sounds good man! I'm a big fan of muzzy... I had a full m14 on my 06 14. I was researching and found many deals on the internet for muzzy slip ons... You should find a great deal no problem.. I'm considering that setup as well...

I was seeing an average of about 32 MPG with the Pipe and Power commander, steet map. Now that I have a Ivans flash and Map I am interested in seeing what kinda of fuel mileage I get. That won't be till spring. Its fun to compare but If I was worried about fuel economy I would have bought a Ninja 300.

I had Muzzy slip on's and loved the dual tone. I had the polished stainless, well made and you can repac them without drilling out rivets. They were great for sport touring.Yes a year later I went to a full 4/2/1 Muzzy M14 PCIII, advancer and map but I missed the mellow tone the duals had.

The focus is not on being economical but for those of us that don't do track days or race 1/4 miles why spend twice the price for a full system for 7 to 10 extra HP and lose considerable mileage? We wouldn't. because the 14r has more than enough HP for the street and most of the miles are traveling. To each his own. To me I am quite happy with the r77 dual exhaust because I like the dual look and don't mind having a wee bit less HP for what I use the bike for. Plus, the way tires disappear I can always use the money to replace a few sets with what I saved.
