New ZX-14R Owner
Hello,
I've lurked on bikeland once or twice but just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself since I'll be lurking more often now.
I just picked up a 2012 ZX-14R from a really good guy in Wisconsin yesterday. The guy lives about 2 hours from my house so I had a very enjoyable ride to get the bike home. I really like this bike, tons of power and more comfortable than my previous zx-10r. The zx-10r was more peppy especially in the mid range, but I think the 14 is a better overall bike for long term ownership in my case.
In my life I've owned a few bikes:
- 1978 Yamaha RD 400 (a 2 stroke street bike which was the only mode of transportation I could afford when I was 18)
- 1980? Honda CB750
- 2006 Kawasaki ZX-10R black, now sold
- 2002 Honda Shadow Sabre 1100, selling now to pay for the beast I just bought
- 2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R black
Anyway, I look forward to lurking more here.
