drops cylinder when hits a bump

Hi everyone I've been having a problem with my bike lately where it will drop a cylinder or two if I hit a big enough bump and then start running normal again if I hit another bump. I haven't done anything recent mod wise and the last mode I did was install a bonneville pro which I wouldn't think that would do it. The bike does have a bazzaz and an afm but have been on the bike for a long time and seem to be working great. I checked the ground and battery to see if anything was lose but nothing seems to be wrong. I left it running and put my hand around the engine and started moving the coil wires and stuff but couldn't get anything to act up. I think tonight I'm going to pull more plastics off and try for the fuel injector connectors and see if that is the problem. Just wondering if anyone ever had anything like this it is an 08 zx14 with 12k miles on it.

Thanks Steve

sorry not trying to doubt it but wouldn't either of those just kill the entire engine and not just drop a cylinder. Thanks for the reply

In case anyone has a similar problem later I ended up tracking mine down, the bazzaz instructions have you use a scotchlock type crimp connector to get keyed on power from the running lights. I noticed mine was rotating around the wire and was causing a short. I soldered the connections together and took it for a spin and everything was fine.

Fixed that for you. Glad the problem was small and easily fixed.
