2008 ZX14 cams
I have a stock motor ZX14 with pc-v, full tiforce and an air filter.
I want to make some more power (previus I had another ZX14 2007 that made 215hp with je pistons, muzzy cams, ported head etc). Is there any good choice of cas to make power on a stock motor?
If I mill the head with stock cams will it make any more power or it will lose high end power and gain low and mids?

I've done this to mine. In 2012 I did a .020 mill with mild porting and 47mm TB's- picked up 20 hp and gained 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile and picked up roughly 4 mph.
For 2013 I tore it apart and installed Kibble White Black Diamond valves w titanium retainers and their HD valve springs. I purchased a set of Web Billet Cams (mildest available) and picked up an addditional 7 hp on the Dyno.
If I were you, i'd stick with the mill- best bang for the buck. Those Cams ran me $1300.00. Not worth it for 7 hp.

If you'd flycut and/or put in drop-in pistons to allow for a much higher lift cam with more duration do you think you'd have picked up a lot more horsepower from the cams? I'm thinking yes but just curious as to your thoughts as well.
