muzzy 3" lowering blocks install
I bought the muzzy fork lowering kit for my 07 zx14. I want to know if there is any special tool I NEED for the install and if someone has pictures or a walk through of how they did it. The directions are brief and only mention where to put the small spacer in the kit. can anyone help with this install?? im not riding on the street and im not going to a dealer.

You must be talking about for the front forks..
If you have never done it you better take it to someone that has. I believe you do need a special tool but you must be exact in putting the correct amount of fluid in each fork.
Do you do a lot of drag racing? Have you read up pros/cons to lowering the forks internally?

Yes the front forks. Like i said im not taking it anywhere. I do all the work to my bike. All i do is drag race. my 10 had internally lowered and cut forks and i still rode it on the street no problems and i had leaky seals. im only asking if anyone has pictures or has done this that can explain it alittle better than the directions that came with it.

well i just broke down and spent $250 on all the proper tools needed for install. when i get everything in ill let you know how it went

I'd like to hear the pros and cons of internal fork lowering please. I just dropped my trees 30mm down the tubes.

im only racing so im not worried about the handling loss of it if there even will be any. im doing it for the biggest pro in my eyes. NO WHEELIE! lol. thats is my biggest reason for doing it.

Those muzzy blocks sucked any blocks suck never had a set that worked right for the 250 you spent on the tools terry mcintoch would do them right for 250 ind fast tun around

I have them in my ZX14 they installed really easy, I already had the tools to do the job I do a few sets of shock seals for people.....

Can you explain to.me what the deal is with the small and large sleeves? The dorections only mentioned using the snall

The large ones go on the top of the spring where the plastic ones were, the small ones go on the bottom after you take the cartridge apart. I used two small pipe wrenches to do that.If you want more info let me know.

What aint there to work u install the blocks they dont move they do what the plastic spacer dose my shocks work perfect with muzzy blocks.
