Swapping Motors-Gear Position Indicator Differences
Putting a different year model motor into this bike and the connectors been cut off the gear position indicator on the donor motor. So I go to swap them out and notice they are two different styles but same color and number of wires. Just curious if anyone has had problems using the two styles. One has a single contact point on the drum and the other has two. Another option is to swap shift drums but I'm lazy but don't want to do so unless mandatory.
