Best bike ever?
I finally got to ride my new 14R. I have to say I think Kawasaki hit an absolute grand slam with this bike.
Great power from the bottom all the way up. Smooth as silk trans. Killer brakes. And almost liter bike handling:.
I really wish I would have gotten one last year.

I think you might try a track day or two before you start thinking it handles anywhere near as well as most liter bikes, let alone any 600. They will flat out smoke your ass on this big ass boat in the corners.

You have to keep in mind my last liter bike was an 05 ZX10. And I said "almost liter bike handling".

ZX14 does fine on the track for a decent rider. My ZX14 weighs 480 pounds in race trim, and I have the suspension set for my weight. Rider ability will make the difference.
Here is a video from our track day on Saturday. The rider following me with the GOPRO is on a newer CBR 600rr.

Most of the fast guys at our local track - Grattan, ride Suzuki SV650's.

On the track yes any 600 will run loops around a 14, but on a back road in the streets the 600 & thousands advantage goes away real quick.

Yeah they are light and nimble, but when pushed hard they are not as planted & smooth as a big bike like a 14 or 14R

I wouldn't say it's clunky , neutral to 1st. My bike has 4000 miles on it and its less clunky than my 07, it is what it is.
