PROGRESS AT THE DRAG STRIP WITH THE 14R....9.2 @159 mph STOCK WHEEL BASE
temps Low 50`s and track was never prepped period as told to me by track official. I made 9 pass`s The last pass being the quickest at 1:30 am.350 runs by mostly junk street cars and pick ups.You could see oil and other wet drops and trails on the track. A lot on spinning at the start and bangin into gears. I did the best I could.I need a teacher on my clutch hand.

hey what all have you done to your bike to get it to run like that I am 9 over and a brocks pipe and a pc5 16/46 gearing but its a 06

I weigh 140#.I ride the bike on the street as much as possible so I don`t want a full time drag bike at this point.........STOCK WHEEL BASE
When I go to the track I ride it there.About 20 miles.
Set up is like this.
Lowered to middle hole and forks slide up 3/4 inch.Also strapped at the track .Brocks ct meg full system. pc5 with pump track 89 Shell gas map. Guhl drag flash 2.Mirrors off.2 tooth smaller rear sprocket.( THAT`S RIGHT 2 TEETH SMALLER REAR SPROCKET 40 tooth) on a spare zx12 rear wheel with a 190 u-soft tire.20 psi.Dale Walker ps3 push button electric shifter. Brocks slipper clutch mod eliminator.
The next time I go I plan to run the mr12 race gas and map.Suppose to add 10 more h/p.Around 220 rwp total.

that guhl drag flash and the brocks slipper clutch that is all that make the difference to the zx14 I need all the help I can get

Awesome! What gear do u go thru trap...top of 3rd?

Yes.I have my dyna shift light set to flash at 11,125 rpm`s just as I push the button for forth gear.That`s with the 40 toofer on back.
