Popping during deceleration(wtf is it?)
FYI I just purchased this bike and have no clue if its bone stock or not. Has Muzzy 4-2-2.

If secondary's are removed it will pop & spit flamed like crazy with aftermarket exhaust, get you an Ivan's DECEL TRE it will clean that stuff up... I don't mind the popping and love the flames, but that's just me.

The cure for decel popping is usually to block off or remove the pair valve or seconday air system.
You can buy a kit for this, anything from a $2 cap to a $65 set of plates, depending on which bike.

i musta misinterpreted what you were describing. thought i saw mention of flames out the backside on decel. i have a good case of that and it is definitely rich. but i can certainly imagine different scenarios.

For those of you that like the flames just remember the packing in the silencer will burn out must faster.
I purchased Ivans TRE when I had my 2007 ZX-14. I did not like hearing the back fire with the secondary flies out.

Don't buy a TRE its a waste of money. Flames and loud loping are cool. Kawasaki's are known for this. I have a new E85 tune and mine doesn't pop anymore.

He has the connection on the more expensive kit.I didn't see it to after I bought mine but after 2000 miles no codes or problems. The other kit from Ivan was less then 10 bucks more at 58cycle.com.It was a bitch getting that junk out the way but it's clean looking now.
