Slammers Lowering Forks

Has anybody here used the Slammerz lowering forks drop in kit from Trac Dynamics? If so what do you think of them?

I got some on the way... will be a couple months before I can test them though. I'll get them installed soon and report at least that much.

i just did the 3" ones. I havent really had a chance to do much riding with them. But from the little I have done Im pretty happy with them. They got the front down to where I wanted it and it rides pretty good for only having an inch of travel, much better than it did with the strap

If you have a front stand and can remove your front wheel you should be good to go. Do you have a 14 or 14r? The reason I ask is I had to take an inch off of the top of my fork legs to keep them from bottoming out with the -3" slammerz on my 14r. I was told this isnt an issue with the 14, why I dont know.

2006 14. I'm curious to know ride quality. I know you lose the rebound settings with the Slammerz and I'm 5-10 260 pounds

Ok.. just installed my 2" drop Trac Dynamics Slammerz in my 2007 14. I removed the forks from the bike because it also needed seals, but you could do it on the bike if your seals are mint. Those were probably the easiest fork seals I have ever done... don't know why I was avoiding it so long? Anyway... 2" Slammerz in! Gonna be a while before I can ride it tho... and even longer before they see the track. I need to set and play with the ride height a bit more. I know I can get it lower for sure.

rACeRs,

That business is low. Nice looking bike. I got the white one too. Can't wait to ride it... damn winter!

How does it handle like that? I slide my fork tubes up 1 1/4" and noticed quite a difference in handling feel for the worse, then brought bike back to stock height front & rear a few months ago.

not like it did stock. Its a straight line only machine now, especially with the sidewinder.

And good choice on color moto, let us know what you think of the 2"ers once you get a chance to ride it

Thanks Joel
