Head Job

The 14r is going to get the head ported and a couple of other things. Is it worth the money to get new cams? I have been told several things by several different people. I am hearing that cams only give you 2 to 4HP vs $1,100 bucks seems I can spend that money elsewhere.

Let Competition CNC do the headwork if you want it done right. Also you can spend half of that $1,100.00 dollars on the 47-48mm throttle bodies from Competition CNC. Just FYI

im sure cams give more power than that. the problem you will probally run into is the factory pistons valve reliefs arent deep enough to add much cam.

Thnak guys. so the 47 mm throttle bodies allow for better airflow correct.

With stock pistons he is right cams stay small , not worth it go new pistons then bigger cams yes more gains . But I'd do 47mm and drop in pistons with 13.5 compression and have head done bye Jim . Tb are 7-9 hp gains
