This is one of the reasons why I didn't do the rear wheel conversion on my 14. Too many little details and things that can go wrong. MUCH simpler just to get a lighter rear tire which is what I will be doing. My 14 rear wheel appears to be lighter than the one osr tested anyway and the $125 I saved by not buying the kit can almost pay for my entire new rear tire! Plus I can reuse the same stock wheel and don't have to fuss with sprockets, cush drives, spacers... and all that other stuff that makes me worry. I wouldn't trust that the chain would line up properly. On bikes, even a mm off can make a significant difference on something like life of a chain and sprockets.
By the time you get all the other required parts (10R rear wheel, 12 sprocket, osr kit...), it aint so cheap.
Michelin has the right idea taking weight off the tire where the weight savings counts most.
I think I know the answer to your question but I'll let someone else with more experience answer it.

The ZX10 and ZX12 sprockets are the same. They are a 6 bolt pattern instead of a 5 like the ZX14.

They are the same in the sense that they have the same sprocket bolt circle pattern and hole diameters and center hole diameter but they are not the same as far as chain size. My 2004 ZX-10R took 525 chain but the ZX-12 takes 530 chain.
The center hole diameter is 80mm, the bolt hole circle diameter (center to center) is 104mm and the bolt hole diameter (where the actual bolts go in) is 10.5mm on both sprockets.
If someone for some reason wanted to run 525 chain on their ZX-14, then they would want to use a ZX-10R rear sprocket with the ZX-10R rear wheel conversion. I don't recommend it but it is possible and I suspect it has been tried. I used to run 520 chain on my '04 ZX-10R and that had about 160 RWHP with ram air assist. No problems with that setup. Vortex aluminum rear sprocket, not even the fancier one with the teflon coating.
Some 525 chains are actually stronger than some 530 chains but I personally would not run 525 chain on my ZX-14 because it will be stressed and it will look like bicycle chain on such a large bike, especially if you leave those large stock cans on from gen 1.

My bad, shithead is right, it is actually a ZX-10 upgrade for the 530 size, the same size as the 14...

For someone that is being called an "idiot", I sure have some good accurate details.
Also, your follow up post to "clarify" things is pretty bad. It is not clear. What I think you meant to say is the ZX-10R rear sprocket is the 525 equivalent of the ZX-12R sprocket but the ZX-12R sprocket takes 530 chain. The 14 also takes 530 chain but is a different sprocket bolt pattern (with other differences) so the 14 sprocket is not interchangeable with the 10R or 12R sprocket and requires a wheel swap to a 10R wheel to be able to then use the 10R or 12R rear sprocket on it, depending on which chain width you want to run on it.
Just a side note that some aftermarket wheels have swappable sprocket carriers so it may be possible to use different rear sprockets on it without having to actually do a wheel swap but I am not an expert on aftermarket wheels. I've only owned one set in my lifetime.

Will a set from the 08 zx10 work? I can get a good deal on one locally. I know the fronts are the same, how about the rears?

OSR says it is the 06-07 ZX10 wheels, but I know there are other years that work, but not sure which ones.

I know for sure the 06 - 07 front wheel used a different inner race size on than the 04/05 model and 08-10 models. I recall correctly it's a larger axle on the 06/07 model years. However the bearings can be swapped out on the other year models easy enough so they will all work with just a little bearing swap

A: "Yes, 1st 2nd and 3rd gen rears are interchangeable.
2nd, 3rd, and 4th gen fronts are too.
1st gen has a different rear wheels and the 4th gen has a different rear."
