what rear brake pads are the best? so many choices!

theres carbon kevlar, kevlar organic, ceramic, sintered, semi metallic ,organic, full metal..maybe more.. i never realized there were so many choices until i went to buy some, so which ones do you guys recomend for normal everyday use? im sick of my rear brakes squelling when they get hot, no track days or drag racing just every day normal spirited riding thanks

Whichever ones someone gives you, oh wait that is what cliffrandall would say.

Seriously, I always liked EBC HH. Made a big difference on the last couple of bikes that I ran them on compared to stock. And if you are going to do the rear, may as well do the front too, they are not that expensive. Let us know what you go with and how you like them.

Might get lucky and get some on CL for cheap, some guy in my area has 3 sets for $40. EBC HH I dont really need any pads, but at that price I just might buy them

I put the EBC pads on front and back when I replaced the stockers. They wok fine and have a good feel. I do notice a sound when they are applied kind of like I am sanding my rotors. Like a very slight hiss. I have not seen any notable increase in rotor wear. I have around 20000 miles on my 2006. I replaced the pads at around 17000.
