Manufacturers Cup moves to Bradenton FL
The Manufacturers Cup motorcycle drag racing series LLC has announced that Bradenton Motorsports will be the host venue for their 2013 season opener as well as the 2013 edition of the Haltech World Finals. The season opener will be held the weekend of April 5-6-7 and will serve as a kick-off to the four race 2013 Cup series. The series returns November 8-9-10 to close out the season and crown champions in all classes with THE EVENT of the 2013 motorcycle drag racing calendar, the Haltech World Finals.
2013 Season Schedule
April 5-7
Bradenton Motorsports Park
June 21-23
Virginia Motorsports Park
August 16-18
Indianapolis Motorsports Park
November 8-10
Bradenton Motorsports Park

I agree, ESPECIALLY since it was in my back yard.
I don't know what's going on, but Sough Ga Motorsports Park just posted on Facebook they will be holding the spring and fall event.. But I spoke with one of the 8 manufactures and they said it will be in Bradenton....

dragbike.com says Bradenton as well, and so does the manufactures cup web site. so the track must be the last to get told!

By what I understand is that to follow the points, you need to be at Bradenton. SouthGa motorsports park will also be having a spring and fall event (same weekends as Bradenton).
The race at SGMP will be called the Manufactures cup.
BUT the real "manufactures Cup" will be held in Bradenton.

Bradenton must have been cheaper to lease. Overall the track isn't as nice as SGMP but it hooks good and its closer for me.

I wish I could consistantly run 8.89's. that was with mr9 and a cool November day. Runs mid 8.9's with mr9 and 9.0's with pump gas. I'm on a serious diet now. Lost 8lbs already, got 20 more to go. I should be down 30lbs before April.

i wouldn't worry about all that ..if you seen this weeks weatherman's forecast with fireballs on friday and blank after that ..you'll understand ..
