Before the steel plates warped 5.62@124, I'm still learning the new gearing, 2 teeth down in the rear may not sound like allot but I can tell the difference, air was 2100+.

I'm starting to feel the clutch in this bike is not as good as the older models? I mean I got 300 to 400 passes on my old 14 at 67 inch wheelbase with mid 1.30 60 foots. Seems the new bike will not go that many passes, am I wrong?

It has more horsepower, and the clutch has to be shimmed if your a big guy, I picked up 3-4 mph in the 1/8th right after installing Brocks complete clutch mod with shims.

If you don't shim it you are losing some mph and et and burning the clutch. The 14r has has "more" hp that a gen 1, my last oem clutches lasted 100's and 100's of hard launches, and yes I like to hot lap it some. Less hp a clutch will last longer, shim it and let us know if it helps.

Wee, we have to wait until April for anything from me! I have 36 passes on the bike now racing classes but I was always in Low power mode and could throw the leaver awat pretty fast.
