compare gen 1 vs gen 2 vs gen 3 zx14

I had 2007 zx14 and i was not impressed with power at low end, however it was different story on the highway.

How does zx14r compare to zx14 at the low to midrange. Can you power wheelie with zx14r and is it stable.

I think some people refer to the 06-07 as one grouping and the 08-11 another grouping. Only thing I can think of here.

so i am guessing zx14 (R) is not 3rd generation. 2006 to 2007. 2008 to 2011. and 2012 to present. wasnt 2008 lot better than 2007 (oil leak issue was fixed, air filter area was improved and lot more power at low end without removing flies - if this does not qualify for gen 2 I dont know what does)

I would say 14 R is the start of a new generation of the 14 R. Generation 1. My opinion

Regardless of what generation I'm curious as to why he wasn't impressed with his low end torque?

Would a Gen 3 be a Gen 1 bike with a Gen 2 motor?

Lol stock with flys out it still pulls insane down low, 6.4 in 1/8 is a lot of pull if u think it's not pulling maybe ur taking off in 3rd gear or has a busa with 14 stickers lol
