Well 1 Bad I told you a while ago time will tell, when you gave me a lot of lip & shit about Kawasaki never winning anything. So there you have it Rickey giving Johnny Turbo carrots the last 2 races and winning the finals.

Rickey, I have a weird question. On all of your onboard videos that are facing your opponent, when you stage and set your rpm and the bike is about to launch your camera does this weird zoom type thing, do you know why? Just one of those weird things I noticed and was curious...

From that camera angle, it looked to me like JT had a better R/T on that run then RG drove around him..

Hello guys!! 1badzx12r I have got to get you signed up for some anger management and to give ol Rickey Gadson a break. Here goes. First off with regards to JT (Johnny Turbo) and his efforts with the busa, there is no way to deny he has mastered his program in riding and as a builder/tuner. There is a huge misconception around the track that me and JT has some bad blood due to the fact he mainly does Suzuki and Im into the Kawasaki. In reality me and Johnny are close personal friends and have been so for nearly twenty years. And secondly Im not tied to Suzuki or Kawasaki; In fact I build more Busa's than I do Kaws. I have just got alot more attention with the zx14. I must admit it is much cooler to have the toy that not everyone has.
Now, back to the business at hand. Rickeys bike was not put finished until September 2012. That bike was built 100% in house at Jones Performance Cycles. Since that time that bike has won 4 of 6 National events that it has attended. And with that being said, Im in Florida, and Rickey in N.J. has limited testing to a minimum. Not to mention I have been faced with a few serious health issues this year. The turbo 14r platform still has alot of potential remaining inside. When I attended a race, im not there to test uncharterd waters, Im there to win. PERIOD.....Winning a race is a combination of being quick and consistant. With consitancy being much higher on the list. There has been times RG has wanted to post a 190 plus mph pass during an event, however I tend to shy from that area because that can lead to a nice top end wheelie or a bust that kills the e.t. That bike still has one of my simple manual boost controller. Winning races is about keeping your cool and not letting you ego become part of the crowd or what is being said on a forum. Many may tend to disagree with me, but that is how I run my program. That has allowed my bikes to capture 20 National wins, 9 # one qulifiers, and now two Nationl Titles sinces 2007 on the ZX14. I honestly feel that I have more R&D with the zx14 turbo than anyone else, without bragging. I run a small shop in Florida that takes pride in all that we do and I really enjoy the sport. I am a true privateer, no factory money or free bikes. I have sent proposals to Kawasaki for years to no Avail. And at times, not even a reply. However I still trying. The sport of motorcycle drag racing is the most unregonized when it comes to motorcycles. The efforts that Rickey Gadson have put forth towards promotion of our sport are positvie and critical towards future recognition. He has made an positive impact that can't be denied to our sport. However that is not to say I did not enjoy kicking his ass when we (John Fernandez/ Richard Gadson) raced against him. And of course, I enjoy working with him and being a part of his program. Hopefully, Corporate Kawasaki will take notice of my work and provide some form of support, even if it is only contingency. My rant is though, if you take nothing more from it other than be positve for the sake of our sport, my job is done. Sincerely, Chris Jones....

Please don’t feed BIKELAND resident troll. This troll is the only person on my ignore list.
Rickey, congratulations to you and Chris Jones, you guys are doing an amazing job! Keep up the good work, your hard work is appreciated!
It is a mystery to me why Bikeland moderators for years have allowed such a toxic and argumentative individual to continue constantly disrupt normal on-topic discussions for his own entertainment.
As I said before, this resident troll is the only person on my IGNORE list.
