Finally,,,,,,, in the 9.50's at SWB

I had the rare chance tonight to get to the track and although I only made 5 passes I finally achieved my goal of getting into the 9.50's at SWB. I ended up running on my second pass a 9.57 @ 148 mph. That was on a 1.66 60'. I cut some low 9.60's as well and one pass where the bike wheelied right off the line and came down with a tank slapper.

I was shocked at my 1/8 mph on that 9.57 pass ..... 119.8 mph. That's really fast for me and my set up / weight.

Here's the funny thing, I never aired down the rear tire. Those runs we're with 38 psi on a pilot road II.

I'm pretty happy overall.

Good result, the best I managed on my 06 bike with a similar set-up, SWB and foot-shifting, was 9.8 but geared 17/40 for LSR.

My excuse is that I rarely do sprints these days.

Congrats on getting into the 50's!

At stock length I usually never air down the rear tire. Traction usually isnt an issue at swb.

Your sig says -1, is that on the front or rear?

I'm actually -1 on both front and rear sprockets. The previous owner had fitted a 16t front sprocket on it and after breaking 2 sockets trying to go back to the stock 17t front, I gave up and left it on. The problem I was having though was that I was hitting the limiter just before the traps and having a damm hard time keeping the front end down with -1 up front. When I fitted the 40t on the rear both problems were solved.

17-40 is the hotspot for swb , if u need a socket I'll ship to u in good faith if u ship back , it dropped my 60 foot time going down 1 in rear swb. When extended Deff try 16-41
