2x4 motor might buy worth it?

guy has a 2x4 motor for sale $5,500, its a 2x4 motor with corillo rods je pistons ,ape studs , carpenter head stage 3 with cams , nos cut tranny, mtc lock up clutch only has 2 dyno runs at 238-240 hp.
but what im worried is its a dry block. iv never dealt with a dry sump motor. is it worth the money?

The crank gear is different, and basket gear, but all else will work, afaik? Meaning you can just swap all of the parts....and bore your cases for the pistons. But for that effort, no...it is not worth it, imo.

If you have to replace the rod bolts they are like $30+ each or something crazy like that. If the bushings are worn, more expense to rebush. It all depends on the condition.

Plus those are stroker rods, depending on what you are looking to do, you would need the crank too.
