PCV Fuel Kill

I've just finished fitting my air shifter.
I've wired a solenoid in parallel with the air valve so that when the horn button is pressed the solenoid closes the fuel kill circuit in the PCV.
I was just trying things out with no pressure in the system and I noticed the fuel only cuts after the button is pressed AND released. Obviously, when the button is released the pressure in the ram is released!
I can't see that this is going to shift?
Is anybody running an airshifter using just the PCV for fuel kill? Have I missed something?

you need to have a 5 pole relay .... the pcv does fuel kill on the circuit breaking , so you need to connect it to the normally closed contacts.

most relays on have 4 poles, and dont have a normally closed contacts, just a normally open contacts.

Thanks Roy.
Yes, I've fitted a 4pole. It's only when I checked it over I discovered it only killed on release!
I thought I may have messed up the wiring but couldn't see how.
Anyway, now I know that's how the PCV works, it's an easy enough fix. Thanks again.
