Anybody hear me yell "fuck"
Well I did it! I was taking my bike off the rear stand and I forgot to put the goddamn kickstand down. And it fell on the left side. Scratched up the whole left side faring. Got to say it's one of the worst feelings I ever felt watching and hearing the bike crash down on my garage floor. Have to replace the left side grill the lower faring and the middle faring. I'm also looking for a left mirror. Anybody got any connections for factory Kawi parts.

So Sorry, my parts are all in green except for the left mirror. I do have a mirror but they are all over ebay as well. Don't buy one from the stealership as there are so many take off's available. If need be, I can do the mirror but I am sure that you will find one much closer to home..

Call Bill at LI Kawasaki, tell him you are a friend of John W (516)936-6969. I have hooked up a few people with parts through him and he does the right thing. There was a dude on the "other" zx14 forum who had a mishap and he was able to save him a bunch on fairings (cheaper than on fleabay). He is a straight shooter and a good guy to deal with.

Yikes, sorry to here the news. I too feel your pain. My new 2007 rolled down the driveway in a wind storm as I watched in horror. A pain that still lingers.

That sucks!! I've come close to doing that, once or twice, but caught it before I had it all the way down.
I did drive off with my steering locked though. Didn't get far  That was on my first new bike, a 78' KZ1000

This sucks!!! I know the feeling lol was taking mine off the rear stand and it went ... cracked the nose only cause the mirror and the engine guard and myself were able to stop it from making it worse. Lesson learned the hard way lol
