Brocks Clutch Mod

Hey guys in my pursuit to go faster I am thinking of investing in the brocks clutch mod. I think I am going to get the standard kit and not the deluxe. My question is will the clutch mod made street riding and day to day riding any more challenging. My goal ultimately is to make this bike as fast as it can go but still ride it on the weekends. The guys who races my bike most of the time for me is about 210lbs and I am about 280lbs. We both ride the bike hard at the track so I am thinking this clutch mod will become an invaluable asset to my bike as well as out E.T. performance. Also on the video is the zx14r really that easy to install the clutch mod. It’s harder to change clutches in my opinion, lol.

I would think that if you never had an issue with your other bikes not having a slipper clutch you won't miss it on the 14r.

you will not notice any difference when street riding with the standard clutch mod, at the track you gain mph, mine picked up 3-4 mph in the 1/8th mile. You need an air impact to install the spacer, install is simple

Wheelie did that equate to better E.T. I am one of those guys who only cares about E.T. and not really the MPH's. I am thinking this would be a great mod to go with the upcoming MPS nitrous kit i have in my garage.

Good thread, frankly I'd like to get one of Brock's clutch kit's myself....Here is what we found out years ago on the 1270, if we shimmed the clutch (tightened it up) we made more hp on the dyno. You might not notice it on the street, but it was there.

quick and easy DIY mod. Was my first time doing it and took me about an hour, only issue i had was after installing the cover i had some seapage at the bottom so i had to remove and reinstall with black rtv applied.
